Robin Cohen and Nick Van Hear are migration scholars who were influential in the emergence and expansion of migration studies at Oxford.
They are currently compiling a history and review of the development of this field at Oxford, focusing first on the period roughly from the 1980s to around 2000. The second part of project will look at the more recent unfolding of migration studies at Oxford from around 2000 to date.
On the 26th of January 2023, Robin Cohen and Nick Van Hear presented their perspective on the period from the late 1980s to the early 2000s.
