The University of Oxford's Migration and Mobility Network (MMN) has space to support the organisation of an event of your choice during Michaelmas Term 2022. This could take the form of a panel, a workshop, a roundtable discussion, a one-day conference or whichever format you deem most appropriate. We are particularly interested in events exploring migration and mobility from an interdisciplinary perspective, which include speakers from different research centres and departments from the University of Oxford. Speakers from other universities and sectors are also welcome.
Topics addressed in previous MMN events include: measuring migration; ethnographic research post-covid; visualising migration and mobility; ethics; deportation; migration and museums; migration and bureaucracy. Examples of past MMN events:
