Kathryn is an Australian trained doctor and current DPhil candidate in Primary Health Care under the supervision of Professor Catherine Pope. She is funded through a Rhodes Scholarship from the Rhodes Trust. Kathryn's research aims to explore the health and the experiences of health services for refugees who are settled in rural and regional areas of high-income countries, with a particular focus on rural populations in Queensland, Australia. Her wider interests include improving person- and community-centred care and addressing health inequities for marginalised groups.
