Elisa is a DPhil candidate in Migration Studies, exploring the links between migration, development, and health. Her research examines how migrants transfer ideas and information related to health and how this may impact health-related behaviour and outcomes across their networks, as well as global health at large. Elisa has worked in migration policy and research, most recently for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), at its Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) in Berlin. Elisa holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor degree in Philosophy & Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
