Guido's expertise lies in 20th century Italian culture. He is particularly interested in the relationship between political history and narrative. He recently worked on censorship during the Fascist regime and on immigration in contemporary Italian cinema and is currently working on the reciprocal influence of Italian and U.S. culture.
