Hallam Tuck is a DPhil Candidate at the Centre for Criminology, researching outsourced all-foreign prisons in the United States of America. His research examines how efforts to integrate punishment and migration control in the federal prison system shape the meanings of citizenship, belonging, and state authority. This project is supervised by Professor Mary Bosworth and supported by the University’s Clarendon Fund, and Lincoln College’s Kingsgate Scholarship.
