Kevin’s work focuses on the creation and development of future cities. Specifically, the conceptualisation and construction of Xiong’an New Area (south of Beijing). Through the use of qualitative methods and focus on policy analysis, his research focuses on the narratives and processes used to formulate and justify new modes of living and understandings of what the city could be. Kevin’s research aims to highlight the logics, advantages and shortcomings behind policy creation. He hopes his research is able bring better light the policy making process and understand where it can be shaped and adapted – therefore he is open to develop new partnerships.
