Micol is a computational social scientist working at the intersection of migration studies, social demography, and network science. She specialises in using advanced quantitative methods and novel data sources to address long-standing questions in migration. In particular, Micol in interested in understanding long-term patterns of international migration, processes of migration feminization, and in the development of timely and fine-grained estimates of internal and international movement.
